Dr. Romi Raina, B.Sc, BA, ND, attended McMaster University and obtained degrees in Life Science and Medical Anthropology. Then, inspired to learn a form of medicine that uses a holistic framework while still maintaining a scientific approach he pursued his studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Along with his board certification and membership in the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, Romi holds certifications in parenteral therapy and first line therapy. Previously he has worked in a community health care facility in Manaus, Brazil, and alongside traditional healers in Q`eqchi, Gutemala. And after working as a medic in the Canadian Forces for the past fourteen years, Romi has learned to understand and appreciate the balance between evidence based medicine and patient based natural medicine. With an eclectic background in science, medical education and hands-on experience, Romi gained a deep understanding of health and wellbeing.

As a naturopathic doctor, Romi sees himself as a general practitioner in complementary medicine suited to address a wide range of health concerns from the common cold to more complicated chronic conditions. In addition to his private practices in Markham and Whitby, he is a professor at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and a medic for the Canadian Forces.
